Herbal Laws and those that make them.

With the recent bans of Ephedra it is time for those that use herbs
in their own life to step up and take note.

If one group (FDA) can step up and control the use of an herb as a
reaction to someone else's stupidity then it is time to educate those
that use these concoctions and those that think that they have the
right to control what you choose to put into your body.

Ephedra is an ancient herb, Listed for a thousand years in Chinese
medicine. It has a litany of documented uses in treatment.

It is not used for weight loss or control in this context.

The mixture of elements that is marketed for weight loss is
Ephedra, caffeine, and aspirin. This mixture has no place in
medicine (either mainstream medicine or alternative medicine)

If there is to be a sanction against specific mixtures, then target
the culprit that makes the mixture, not the plant that one of the
chemicals is refined from.

I urge anyone that reads this message to write, call, or fax their
elected politicians.
