Herbalists: Plant Medicine
Long before the advent of modern medicines there were only plants to rely on for medicine.
Several times in history those that studied plants as medicine were persecuted.
Modern day herbalists can usually tell you what herbals will work with your other medicines.
Just tell the herbalist what medicines you are on. I cannot say the same for MD's Most of them don't know much about herbals. All of us can learn.
