Local first responders are the link between EMS and the local Volunteers.
First responders are volunteers with Response level EMS training. CPR, Community First aid, Taking vital signs, & Scene Assessment.
First responders assist EMS and local authorities in directions to an accident scene. In the rural area that we operate in we can be a great asset.

BASIC EMT Classes continue: The local EMS trainer is holding a basic EMT class at the present time. There are 7 or 8 attending this section. Most are members of local volunteer fire departments. There is rumor of a fall "First responder" course. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes official. More >> |
