STEPS IN RESCUE BREATHING

7. check pulse at carotid, 5-10 seconds and signs of circulation, coughing, movement and normal breathing.
Bag Valve Mask :

8. if no pulse, begin chest compressions.

with O2 smaller tidal volume
9 check victims response: (check pulse, and signs of circulation after 1 min. or 4 cycles and every 3-5 min)
without O2 larger tidal volume
10. Use AED (Automated External Defibrillator) if available- attach pads and follow prompts
Note: Recovery position (side lying) For unconscious victim that is breathing spontaneously with a pulse.
